Postpartum Support

Postpartum doulas are there for support, both emotionally and physically. They are capable of doing light household cleaning and chores, meal prep, taking care of your baby while you get some rest and practice self-care, and will help give you a piece of mind that everyone's needs are met. 

While all support is fully customizable to fit your needs, most doula's treat postpartum sessions as an 8 hour day. If you need more or less time with your doula, they will be flexible, but  we often find that women benefit the most from having longer stretches of help.

Having your doula stay overnight will assure that you can get the rest you need to tackle the next day. Your overnight doula will make sure the baby is taken care of, fed, and changed overnight. They may do some quiet household tasks to set you up for success the next day, but they won't disturb your sleep. You can rest easy knowing your baby is in th safest hands.
